Things to Do: Boat trip to Rhynia and Delos
Rhenia is an island near Mykonos, sparsely inhabited, and with very blue sea. It’s a great ride to snorkel, see fish and be on secluded beaches. Delos is already the richest archaeological site in the whole Cyclades. According to legends, it was on the islet that Apollo and Artemis, sons of Zeus, were born, and there is a set of sculptures sculpted more than 2,500 years ago.
It is a true open-air art museum, surrounded by equally impressive ruins. The sailboat ride to these two islands lasts 7 hours, with lunch included and guided tour in Delos. If you do not want to do the sailboat tour, know that a trip to Delos can also be done independently. There are taxi boats departing daily from the port of Mykonos to there.
